Last updated: 9th January 2026

These Terms of Business (“Terms”) govern the relationship between Sun Source Brokers Limited (“we”, “us”, “our”) and our clients (“you”, “your”).

By engaging our services, you agree to these Terms.

1. Our Services

Sun Source Brokers Limited is an independent energy brokerage providing services including but not limited to:

  • Energy procurement and price comparison
  • Contract negotiation and switching
  • Contract renewal management
  • Supplier liaison and account support

We act as an intermediary between you and energy suppliers.

2. Our Role

  • We do not supply energy directly
  • Energy contracts are between you and the chosen supplier
  • Final acceptance of contract terms is your responsibility

We provide information and recommendations based on the data available at the time.

3. Information Accuracy

You are responsible for ensuring that all information you provide to us is:

  • Accurate
  • Complete
  • Up to date

We are not liable for issues arising from incorrect or incomplete information provided by you or third parties.

4. Commission & Remuneration

We are typically remunerated by way of commission from energy suppliers.

  • Commission may be included within your unit rate or standing charge
  • The level of commission may vary by supplier and contract
  • Further details are available upon request

There is no direct cost to you unless otherwise agreed in writing.

5. Contract Duration & Renewal

  • Contract lengths vary by supplier and tariff
  • Renewal discussions may begin before contract expiry
  • You are responsible for reviewing renewal offers and contract terms

Failure to renew may result in rollover or out-of-contract rates set by the supplier.

6. Cooling-Off Period

Business energy contracts may not include a cooling-off period, depending on supplier terms.

Once a contract is accepted, it may be legally binding.
We strongly recommend reviewing all documentation carefully.

7. Liability

We will provide our services with reasonable skill and care.

We are not liable for:

  • Supplier pricing decisions
  • Supplier service failures
  • Network outages
  • Indirect or consequential losses

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, negligence, or death/personal injury where unlawful.

8. Complaints

If you have a complaint, please contact us in the first instance:

Email: [insert complaints email]

We aim to acknowledge complaints promptly and resolve them fairly.

If a complaint relates to an energy supplier, we may refer you to their complaints process.

9. Data Protection

We process personal data in accordance with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

Please refer to our Privacy Policy for full details.

10. Termination

Either party may terminate the relationship at any time, subject to:

  • Existing contractual obligations
  • Accepted supplier contracts remaining in force

Termination does not affect accrued rights or obligations.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of English courts.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.
The latest version will always be available on our website.
